At Read we employ an experienced and knowledgeable supply chain. We use a three tier system with categories including Preferred, Approved and Principal all of which are detailed on our approved supply chain database.
In addition each subcontractor is assessed for insurance, health and safety and quality through KPI scoring. We also utilise collaborative working practices to deliver best value for build ability, sustainability, cost and delivering exactly what the client requires.
Our principle and preferred supply chain members have signed and are committed to our supply chain charter which confirms that they are fully aligned with our business principals, ethos and practices.
We also place significant importance on not just training our own people, but our supply chain, and to that end a number of our key supply chain members took part in a Construct Wales and BRE CLIP initiative program consisting of a series of 10 workshops which took place over a 12 month period.
