Accounts Manager
Jane originally joined Read in June 1998 as an accounts / administrative assistant. Her initial role was to cover administrative duties and assist in the accounts department. With the progressive growth of the company, Jane moved into a full time accounts role. Having completed her AAT qualification and 8 years of mentorship from her manager, Jane was given the opportunity to take over as Accounts Manager upon the retirement of Lesley Gibson.
In addition to her Accounts Manager duties, Jane also undertakes the role of HR Manager. Over the years she has developed company procedures, policies and documentation required to ensure delivery of “best practice” in line with legislation. She worked with David Peel of the Welsh Assembly on the SME Equality Project. David’s role was to review all the company’s procedures and documentation to ensure accuracy. The work Jane carried out was instrumental in the successful accreditation to IIP. Read are very proud of the combined skills, professionalism and control delivered throughout the company by the accounts department under Jane’s leadership.
