Estimating Manager

Jason having graduated from NEWI, Wrexham with a Building Studies qualification, joined Read in July 1996 in the capacity of Trainee Quantity Surveyor. Prior to commencing studies in the construction sector, Jason was employed in the finance department of a Food retailer, where he gained valuable experience of business finance

Since joining Read, through commitment, dedication and organic growth of the company, Jason has progressed through various roles from assistant surveyor to his current position of Estimating Manager. In discharging his responsibilities he embraces and nurtures his team to meet the challenges of the estimating process for tenders ranging from negotiations, to partnering to design and build and traditional competitive tendering. In championing innovative and best practice estimating solutions, Jason has been instrumental in the adoption of a bespoke software application as an estimating tool to improve efficiency, accuracy and speed of the tendering process.
