Richard gained 12 years experience working for large national civil engineering and construction companies before joining Read in 1997 as a foreman. During his civil engineering roles Richard has gained in-depth experience of deep drainage foundations, mass excavations and earth moving. This knowledge has served well in his employment at Read and brought a new skill set to support the already diverse management structure. During his time at Read, Richard has advanced through various roles from foreman, site manager, senior site manager and project manager to his current position as contracts manager, managing a varied range of projects in all sectors, with many sites being a “live” environment.
