Read Construction have won both the Regional and National awards from the LABC (Local Authority Building Control) for Best Educational Project in 2015.
In April this year, Read won the Regional Award for Best Educational Project for the Shotton Primary School project. Following the win, they were shortlisted for the National Award.
The £9 million project was a new build BREEAM Excellent school which formed an amalgamation of Shotton Infant Primary School and Taliesin Junior Primary School, providing two separate teaching areas.
Richard Heaton, Managing Director, collected the award earlier this week from Flintshire Council. He commented, “Building on our long standing relationship with Flintshire County Council, we are delighted to have received many exemplar remarks and appreciation from Members within the Council Chamber. All at Read are justifiably proud of our working relationship and mutual respect with all stakeholders.”
Here at Read, we love to propel ourselves into fresh territory and our team are ready to hear from you regarding any new projects and ventures. Be sure to get in touch as we'd love you to be a part of our ever expanding client list.
