Kasia has a passion for community engagement and liaison, with a background in the Third Sector. She champions sustainable approaches and practices in every aspect of the business. Kasia supports the project teams in ensuring that Read meet the needs of the Three Pillars of Sustainability, with a focus on encouraging social and economic sustainability, promoting SME opportunities and maximising added & legacy value. She works with the project teams to ensure maximum visibility of opportunities for small and micro organisations to engage in bidding for work packages.

Kasia manages Read’s PR campaign to promote engagement through face-to-face and online methods, raising the profile of the business, ensuring maximum visibility of opportunities for small & micro organisations to engage in bidding for work packages and promoting industry best practice. As a CITB Construction Ambassador, Kasia regularly attends career promotion and schools events, promoting the construction industry to the future workforce.

Read Construction kindly donated waste timber from their site in Llandudno Junction, which was re-used to build planters, bird boxes, and provide kindling and logs to the local community through our community retail store. The timber provides work activities to volunteers and adults with learning disabilities, as well as proving low cost timber products to our customers.
