CONSISTENT DELIVERY - Following the successful delivery of several schemes for this client and having collaboratively reached an Agreed Maximum Price with ring-fenced costs for preliminaries and overheads and profit, Read produced a second stage schedule of works with the client and the project Quantity Surveyor for the design and construction of a new fully glazed extension to the school’s 6th form building. The scheme was completed on time and within budget to the satisfaction of all concerned.

COLLABORATIVE INNOVATION - By working in a collaborative manner with the client appointed architectural practice, an early low level of detail BIM approach was used to deliver efficient information flow and control. Whilst the construction information was issued in a traditional format, the transparency, availability and reliability of such information enabled efficient processes throughout the construction team and supply chain.

CONSISTENT RESULTS - Working in a collaborative ethos, this project was delivered with total understanding of cost ability ensured the project was delivered to a delighted Client, with Constructing Excellence KPI's of 9.5 out of 10 for client satisfaction, 92% waste diverted from landfill and ZERO accidents.
