Design and Build project awarded under the North Wales 21C Schools programme through the North Wales Collaborative Framework for the extension to the live Primary School in Wrexham.
ENGAGING - Throughout the project, the site team have delivered a programme of educational engagement activities with the school pupils. This included a Health and Safety Poster competition and visit from safety mascot Ivor Goodsite.
ENHANCING VALUE - By working collaboratively to manage the budget cost plan with the client, Read's design and construct team generated salient economies within the design to deliver enhanced offerings including additional fencing, soft play and playground markings.
LOCAL DELIVERY - Committed to delivering maximum local value, Read's team signed up to the Wrexham Council Employer Pledge to promote local labour and business opportunities resulting in 71% of the project value being delivered locally.
The extension and internal works are now virtually complete. We are delighted with all of the work that has been done. The team on site have been fantastic.
